Sue Habersmith, age 62, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away after a 5.5 year battle with metastatic breast cancer. She is survived by her children, Nick Habersmith of Sherwood, Arkansas and Sara Habersmith of Orlando, Florida. Her siblings, Robert (Valerie) Haber, of Birmingham, Michigan and her sister, Heidi, of Sarasota, Florida. As well as loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Sue was born and raised in Allen Park, Michigan, before chasing the sunshine and moving to Florida in 2007. Her nickname “Suze Sunshine” was always fitting, even through her struggle with cancer, she had a positive and bright outlook and genuinely loved life.
In her spare time, you could often catch Sue watching HGTV, practicing yoga or hopping on a plane to visit her favorite places, Sedona & Asheville. She always found ways to give back to others and truly had a heart of gold. Sue will be missed greatly by her dear friends & family, but we know she has been reunited with her loved ones in heaven and is watching over those who loved her.
