Roseann Lukasik

Roseann Lukasik (nee Picone), 60, of Howell, N.J., passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 7, 2019, surrounded by her loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Roseann was born in Morristown, N.J., on Jan. 2, 1959, to Louis and Maria Picone. She was raised in Florham Park, N.J., where she lived for most of her younger years prior to settling down with her family in Howell.

Roseann and her husband, the late Walter Lukasik Jr., raised their family in Howell, and lived there for many years. She had a long career as an administrative assistant for several doctors’ offices.

Roseann was a wonderful and loving mother, daughter, wife, and grandmother. She went to great lengths to make sure her family was well taken care of, loved, and comfortable.

Roseann loved crafts, watching Disney and Pixar movies, as well as card and board games with her family. She was a fan of the Food Network, enjoyed cooking, and appreciated good food.
Roseann loved children, babysitting for friends and family, and was beyond overjoyed with the recent birth of her first grandchild. She will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved her, especially her two dedicated daughters.

Roseann was predeceased by her beloved husband of 36 years, Walter Lukasik Jr., in 2017. She leaves behind her dear parents, Louis and Maria Picone of Florham Park; her two daughters, Elisa Randisi and her husband, Mike of Howell, and Jennifer Lukasik and her husband, Dimitrios Penoglou Jr. of Jackson, N.J.; one brother, Anthony Picone and his wife, Kathy of Flanders, N.J.; one sister, Jamie Picone of Basking Ridge, N.J.; her mother-in-law, Marie Lukasik; her cherished grandson, Dimitrios Penoglou III; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
