Melissa Jean Bingham died May 21st, 2019, peacefully in her home surrounded by family. She was 38 years old. Melissa was born in Honolulu, HI and raised in Oceanside, California. Melissa moved to Aurora, CO after attending college at UC Irvine, where she later met her husband Mike, who she met in 2005 and married in 2010.
Melissa is survived by her mother Marilou, her sister Maria, her children Camden and Nicholas, and her husband Mike. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, riding her horse and spending time outdoors.
Melissa is warmly remembered for her kindness, grace, selflessness, and authenticity. She had a significant impact on many of her friends and family and was held in high regard by her professional colleagues.
Melissa was a tenacious advocate for women battling breast cancer, and dedicated time to supporting multiple causes including Bright Pink and METAvivor.
Melissa was loved dearly by many and will be greatly missed by the many people she touched in the abbreviated, but inspirational time spent on this earth.
