Margie Watterson, née Boland, passed away Wednesday, January 3rd following a courageous battle with breast cancer. Margie, a proud alumna of Michigan State University, moved to Glen Ellyn in 1992 with her husband Brian at the peak of her career during her time as Midwest Manager of Cosmopolitan Magazine. The beloved daughter of Marilyn and the late Daniel Boland, Margie is survived by her husband of 27 years, Brian, and daughters Mallie, Anna Kate, and MacKenzie. She so loved her siblings Joseph (Lynn) Boland, Kathy Boland, John (Lisa) Boland, & Danny (Marianne) Boland and adored her nieces and nephews. She brought sunshine and joy to the lives of everyone she met and radiated kindness throughout her days.
