Lisa M Harnois, 56, of North Hampton, passed away Tuesday, March 13, at her home following a five year battle with cancer.
She was born in Portsmouth, NH on September 21, 1961. She was the daughter of Gerard Veno and Velma Patricia Eastman.
Lisa was married to her husband, David, for 38 years. She worked for years doing everything possible to help support her family, making scores of friends who she remained in contact with over the years. She would happily be Mom’s taxi for her kids for any activity, and always looked out for their best interests. Lisa was a devoted wife to her husband, and looked forward to weekends up at their summer home on Sebago lake, Maine. She also enjoyed the many concerts she attended over the years. One of her favorite things was enjoying the company of her family at get together’s, and telling stories of things they enjoyed over the years. She was an ardent Facebook person, who touched the lives of so many people that she became friends with. She always had a contagious laugh that was enjoyed by all.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. David Harnois, of North Hampton; her sons Gregory and Michael of North Hampton; her mother Velma Patricia Eastman of Rochester; her sister Rhonda Jones of Strafford; her sister Elaine Jones of East Wakefield; her sister Kathy and her husband, Brent Edgerton, of Cornish; her sister Brenda and her husband, David Tremblay, of Rochester; her sister Diane and her husband, Todd Pitts, of Wolfboro; brother Roger Jones and his wife, Correna, of Norwich, CT; brother Craig Eastman and his wife, Kara, of Dover; brother Joseph Veno and his wife, Beverely, of West Virginia. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews that are almost too many to count. She is pre-deceased by her step-father, Avery Eastman, of Dover; and infant daughter, Amanda Harnois.
