Linda M. (LeClair) Sousa, 44, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. She was the beloved wife of Victor M. Sousa for 21 years. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of Ronald W., Sr. and Janine C. (Tetreault) LeClair of Pawtucket. For over 20 years, Linda was a special education teacher in the Dighton-Rehoboth School Department. A fierce advocate for her students with special needs, Linda earned the utmost respect and admiration of her colleagues. Linda’s creative soul can be seen through her talents as a writer, photographer, gardener, artist, and decorator. Her love for life, her kindness, graceful spirit, and positive outlook in her journey continues to be a blessing to those who knew her personally and those who were touched by her raw, selfless, genuine, beautiful blog posts. The ripples of Linda’s inspiration are infinite. Above all, Linda was a devoted, kind and loving, wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Besides her loving husband and parents, Linda leaves two beloved children, Evan P. Sousa and Kaia C. Sousa; two brothers, Ronald W. LeClair, Jr. of Cumberland and Jeff R. LeClair and his girlfriend, Michelle of Pawtucket; four nephews, Jordan, Braeden and Mathew LeClair and Caleb DeSousa-Lemos; mother and father-in-law, Manuel and Maria Sousa of Pawtucket; and her soul sister, Shannon Marshall of Attleboro. Linda also leaves her beloved four legged friend, Sparkee. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will be private. VISITATION will be held Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
