My mom, Kay, early stage cancer diagnosis with mastectomy and lymph node removal, 24 years ago. She was diagnosed with MBC to the liver, July 14, 2015 and died October 8, 2015; just 10 short weeks after her diagnosis. We had never heard the term Metastatic Breast Cancer before that. She was so proud that she had survived breast cancer. I do this to honor her, so her death is not in vain and to educate others.
