Jennifer Lynn Roper, 42, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018, after a long courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer. She married the love of her life, Mark Roper, Aug. 21, 1993, and they were blessed with two children, Kyle and Kaleb. She was a loving wife and a devoted mother.
She was known for her sense of humor, love of life, and fondly remembered for how she treated everyone as family. She never knew a stranger. Jennifer helped at the schools of both boys, she made beautiful wreaths, loved to travel with Mark and the boys, was adventurous, worked on the Young Survivor Coalition hotline, and was an advocate for other cancer survivors.
Jennifer loved many and was loved by all — she loved life and lived each day with a generous heart and loving spirit.
Jennifer never allowed cancer to define her. She chose to face it head on and through her counseling skills she helped other survivors stand up and fight.
