Jan Ellen Singleton, age 67, of Grove City, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021, after a short but courageous battle against breast cancer. Jan was born on July 12, 1953, in Columbus to William A. and the late Jean Marlyn England. Jan was a lifelong resident of Grove City and graduated from Grove City High School in 1970. She was a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, where she was active in the handbell choir for many years. Jan was a kind, selfless spirit who always put others first. She was hard-working and a perfectionist in everything she did. Jan was a self-taught musician who could play several instruments, including the viola, piano, and flute. Above all else, she loved her family and her pets and lived life to the fullest.
