Beth lost her battle with MBC on Monday, October 28th, 2019. She was born April 1st, 1959 in Barberton, OH to the late Charles and Janis Haag. Surviving are her husband of 28 years, Robert and children Meredith and Christopher. Also survived by sisters Rebecca Veres and Barbara Klein and brother Robert Haag.
Beth was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2000 and then had a recurrence in 2006. Then in 2017, she was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. She led a valiant fight and was an inspiration to all of us in toughness and resilience. She continued to work as a Speech-Language Pathologist at UPMC Passavant Hospital in Pittsburgh up until almost the very end. She cared deeply for her family, her patients and also animal welfare.
She will be greatly missed.
