It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daena Cavallino, a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, teacher, and cousin. Daena passed away peacefully on Monday, November 3, 2025 surrounded by her family and the love she so freely gave throughout her life.
Daena was born in Brooklyn, and known for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication to others. She filled every role in her life with grace as a nurturing mother, devoted wife, supportive sister, and inspiring teacher who touched the hearts of countless students. Her gentle spirit, radiant smile, and selfless nature brought warmth and light to all who knew her.
Daena’s life was built on love, love for her family, her friends, her students, and her faith. She had a remarkable gift for making others feel valued and cared for, and her legacy of generosity and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
She is survived by her beloved husband, her daughter, her Mother, and her sister and brother, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and extended family members who will live on forever in our memories.
