Daughter, sister, aunt, second mom, and friend Barbara J. Allen, who was affectionately known as Barbara Jean, Big B and Bobbie, transitioned from this earth on April 3, 2015. A fighter to the end, Bobbie succumbed to a long battle with breast cancer and went on to join her beloved father John J. Allen in heaven. Although Bobbie had no children of her own, she mothered countless nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. Independent, funny and talkative are all words that can be used to describe Bobbie, but she will most be remembered for her heart. Bobbie was a giver. She dedicated her life to helping and taking care of others. Bobbie is survived by her mother Sara M. Allen, five sisters: Denise, Pamela, Viveca (Penny), Shannon and Kelis as well as a host of nieces and nephews and loved ones. Bobbie will forever be in our hearts.
