Ann Hallstrom Clark, a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 14th, 2024. Born on January 5th, 1961, in Miami, FL, Ann was the beloved daughter of Gwendolyn and William Hallstrom.
Ann leaves behind a legacy of love and joy, survived by her adoring husband of 38 years, David (Dave) Clark; her beloved children, William (Billy) Clark and his wife Danielle, and Kendall (Clark) Ellison and her husband Ryan; her treasured grandchildren, Carter, Rhett, Paige, and Baker; and her loving brother, William (Will) Hallstrom and his wife Kathy Amezola.
A graduate of Florida State University, Ann dedicated her career to education. She was a passionate and loving educator in Palm Beach County for 35 years, ultimately serving as both a District Administrator and a Principal of three different schools, where she served the community and mentored countless teachers and educators. Her impact on the lives of thousands of students will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
Ann married the love of her life, Dave, on December 28th, 1985. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Ann had a zest for life that was evident in everything she did. She loved vacationing in Sanibel, sipping key lime martinis, and found joy in the fun passion of flower arranging. She also cherished spending summers in the mountains in Beech Mountain, NC. Above all, Ann treasured spending time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren.
In 2018, Ann was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer, beginning a courageous battle that lasted over six years. Throughout her journey, she faced numerous surgeries and treatments with unwavering determination and grace. Ann’s strength was a source of inspiration to everyone around her, and she brought joy to fellow patients and medical staff alike. Despite the challenges, she continued to cherish every moment with her family and friends, savoring the love and support that surrounded her. Ann’s legacy of resilience and joy will forever be remembered by all who were fortunate to know her.
