Allison Faith fought courageously with MBC for over 3 years before passing on December 17th, 2021. She was diagnosed just two months after her 40th birthday and before her first routine mammogram. A beloved high school teacher, friend, sister, daughter, wife and mom she continues to be missed by many. Allison grew up in Bolingbrook, IL and attended college at Centre College in Danville, KY. She moved to Louisville shortly after where she earned master’s degrees in English and Education. She married the love of her life, Matthew and planted roots in Corydon, IN where she taught high school and joyfully started raising her family. She left behind her husband Matt, son Nathan, daughter Madeline, dog River, her parents John + Kim Hoffert, sister Meagan Krift (Ryan) nieces and nephew, and countless others who love and miss her.
The light and positivity that she radiated even in her final days continues to inspire us to live louder in life and to shine bright for others.
