My name is Sharon Anderson. I am a 56 year old thriver. I am the wife of a wonderful husband, Larry Anderson and the mother of two beautiful daughters, Brianna, who is 27 years old and Jasmine, who’s 19. I was first diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer and de novo Metastatic Breast Cancer in April of 2013. I had a reoccurrence of cancer in my spine in October of 2015. I consider myself a thriver. If you wish to thrive, you have to embrace the very possibility that surviving is not the only option you have when it comes to your very existence. The idea that we may have reached a point where thriving is possible doesn’t always come easy or naturally. I take my metastatic days one day at a time. I continue learn, share and smell as many roses as I can along the way.
