METAvivor Research and Support announces 27 new grant awards for metastatic breast cancer research totaling $5.75 million. METAvivor held its annual metastatic breast cancer research cycle in 2022 and as a result of strong support from generous donors Metavivor is able to announce another banner year for peer-reviewed, metastatic breast cancer research funding.
In November, METAvivor tried something a little different. We shared branded information with the community about novel testing that may help those with metastatic breast cancer make more informed choices about their treatment or potentially, the next bridge treatment.
According to poet T. S. Eliot, “April is the cruelest month.” I disagree. From my vantage point, the cruelest month is October, or “Pinktober” to the breast cancer community. That’s when the country turns its focus to breast cancer awareness, and pink ribbons sprout like weeds.
