We are pleased to announce that the law firm of Carlton Fields Jorden Burt, P.A. has agreed to represent METAvivor on a pro bono basis in our dispute with Kohl’s and Komen. The firm has already begun taking steps on its behalf to address these issues. While we cannot discuss the actions being taken on the firm’s advice, we have full confidence in our legal team and are excited that they are committed to our cause. We will provide further updates as we are able to share them in accordance with the firm’s advice.
Importantly, since Carlton Fields Jorden Burt is providing legal services to METAvivor on a pro bono basis, we are able to assure our supporters and donors that its representation of METAvivor will not be funded by donations. 100% of donations will continue to go into our research fund and fund METAvivor's metastatic breast cancer research grants.
