METAvivor is pleased to announce that we have hired Sonya Negley as our first ever Executive Director. Sonya has over 20 years of experience in non-profit management, including program development, strategic planning, operations management and fundraising. In her new role at METAvivor, Sonya will work part-time and will oversee daily operations, including working with donors and corporate sponsors, supporting our research grant program establishing operational processes, and partnering with our extensive base of volunteers.
Since our founding in 2009, METAvivor has relied on our very committed volunteers, donors, sponsors and supporters to help us manage our programs. We have grown tremendously over the past six years, and have had tremendous success. We look forward to having Sonya join our organization as its first staff member, and to utilizing her expertise and substantial experience to help shape METAvivor for the future.
