Today we are excited to share with you the details for our Sea to Sea for MBC trip across the US to meet with sponsors, supporters, volunteers and the researchers we have funded to date.
METAVIVOR is one of 23 organizations nationwide to receive funding. This grant focuses on enhancing patient support and efforts to increase public understanding of metastatic breast cancer.
METAvivor will be hitting the road this spring in a cross-country trip, learning from our researchers, meeting with our supporters, visiting with patients, and educating communities.
We all have a responsibility to more fully acknowledge, embrace and support those living with metastatic breast cancer.
A Social Security professional who lost his wife to MBC is donating his time to METAvivor to advise MBC patients on social security disability. We are very grateful for his generous initiative. Your comments and questions are welcome. All questions will be answered by the author of this blog.
