On behalf of the METAvivor Board of Directors, we are incredibly grateful for your continued support, which has enabled life-changing research. Thanks to you, we've made remarkable strides since our founding in 2009, and the first grant was awarded in 2010. To ensure we can continue driving progress, in November 2024 the Board of Directors made an important adjustment to the METAvivor fundraising guidelines, effective January 1, 2025.
To amplify the long-term impact of your support, moving forward 90% of donations and proceeds from fundraisers will go directly to research, while 10% will support essential operations that further our mission—things like administration and operations support, program management, outreach, and expanding partnerships. This shift will help us run sustainably and ensure we can optimize the impact of every dollar you contribute.
We remain committed to transparency and accountability, and we will continue to conduct and provide annual financial audit reports, an organizational report, and IRS Form 990 filings.
