Global Live & Virtual Event
Take part in a global campaign that educates, raises funds, and shines a light on the critical need for research for Stage IV metastatic breast cancer research. Every year on October 13, National Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day, over 270 landmarks across the U.S. and around the world illuminate in the MBC awareness colors of teal, green and pink. The lighting culminates with LightUpMBC Live, a virtual benefit co-hosted by a leading luminary and produced by a Stage 4 MBC Thriver. Hear from patients as they share their stories of resilience, live from landmarks around the world; hear directly from scientists to learn how grants funded by METAvivor are leading to more treatment options; and enjoy inspiring celebrity performances. Entertainers from prior years have included Lisa Loeb, Tracy Bonham, David Cook, Rozzi, Dionne Lea, and Keith David.
