Paula Frediani

Belmont, CA

**Paula Lee Frediani** passed away peacefully at home on September 6, 2026, surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer.

Paula loved her family deeply, including her parents, siblings, children, and, she would probably admit, her husband. She was loving, thoughtful, and deeply devoted to the people closest to her.

She was also the planner in the family. Paula was exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and somehow remembered everything. There were always lists: things to do, things to pack, places to go, and details the rest of us would have forgotten. When we traveled, Paula usually had the trip mapped out before anyone else had finished thinking about it. That organization was part of how she took care of the people around her.

Paula was incredibly smart, and those qualities served her well in her career as a senior marketing manager at Intuit.

She loved to travel. When she was younger, she traveled extensively, and for years afterward we could be watching television, see some faraway place on the screen, and Paula would say, “I’ve been there.” It eventually became a family joke, and the rest of us would race to say it first whenever a location came up on TV.

Later, we took many trips together around California. Napa, Monterey, and Disneyland were among her favorite places.

Paula was also an avid reader, especially of mystery novels. During the harder periods of her illness, she found comfort in books and in watching the Hallmark Channel.

Paula also adored Mochi, the little dog who became her constant companion. Mochi originally came to Paula from one of her cancer friends who had passed away, and from then on she was very much Paula’s dog. A true lap dog, Mochi was rarely far from her and became an important part of the family.

She is survived by her husband, Jonathan Fisher, their children, Matthew and Sarah, her siblings, extended family, many friends, and her beloved dog, Mochi.

In accordance with Paula’s wishes, she will be cremated. The family will hold a memorial gathering at a later date and will share details when plans have been made.

Paula will be deeply missed for her intelligence, her organization, her love of family, her curiosity about the world, and the care she put into the people and details that mattered to her.
