Lisa Diane Cardoso-Slagle, 57, passed away 30 June 2017 after a courageous 8-year battle against cancer. Lisa touched and inspired so many lives as a loving mother who raised three children, a caring “Nana” to nine grandchildren, a devoted wife, a caretaker for 25 years, and a faithful friend to so many.
In support of her family and son, Coach Brian Reel, the Liberty High School Football program set up this fund to benefit the METAvivor mission in her memory. Lisa is an inspiration to those who loved her and to many she has not met to advocate for breast cancer research and support. Please donate to the METAvivor cause so that one day, metastatic breast cancer is an illness instead of a terminal disease.
