Page Williams Jones, 59, passed away on Tuesday, January 25th, 2022 surrounded by family. She was born on May 4th, 1962 in Izmir, Turkey, to the late Howard Lewis and Jane Williams. She was a Kindergarten and Pre-K teacher at Oak Grove United Methodist Church. She also volunteered at the Norfolk Animal Care Center.
After growing up in Izmir, Page and her family returned to Richmond, VA, in 1968. Page graduated from Douglas Freeman High School in Richmond, VA, and Converse College, Spartanburg, SC. She married John Edward Jones on June 6th, 1987. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 34 years, John; her daughters Kyra Selph (Ryan), Sydney Jones (Arjun), and Keri Jones; her grandson Bryant; her sister Carter Hall. She leaves behind numerous extended family members and close friends, who will miss her warm and caring spirit.
Page was a treasure and anchor in our lives. She had such a zest for life and lit up any room she entered. She loved music, concerts, watching sports, taking weekend adventures with her husband, and spending time with her daughters and family. She took great joy in teaching and guiding her students, she often had former students and parents remember her from years ago. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
