Amanda Eidam

McDonough, GA

December 31, 1990 – July 30, 2023
Amanda was just 27 when first diagnosed with breast cancer. She fought a courageous battle and was able to push the monster back into remission. It came back with a vengeance a couple of years later. Amanda fought hard…so, so hard. When it was diagnosed as being back, there was no hope of it going back into remission, only the hope of keeping it at bay and giving her more years. The doctors gave her 3-12 months with the recurrence. Amanda aggressively fought and won 18. Many broken hearts lay in the wake of her passing, from her wife, Kaye, to her mother & father and two sisters, grandparent, aunt & uncle, cousins, and countless friends and acquaintances who followed Amanda’s Vlog chronicling her journey. She had such an inspirational impact on so many in her short time on this Earth and will be deeply missed. Once Amanda discovered so little money received for breast cancer research went for metastatic breast cancer research specifically, she wanted donations sent to them in her memory. As such, we were able to make a donation in her memory. Please feel free to make a donation if you are so inclined in memory of a loved one.
