DESCRIPTION:Please join us on Saturday\, September 27\, 2025 for our 5th annual Chicagoland Be A Hero event to raise awareness and contribute to funding MBC research. \nWe hope our race will highlight the need for RESEARCH and FUNDING for Metastatic Breast Cancer. MBC carries an average life expectancy of 3 years\, as there is NO CURE. \nThis event will be unforgettable for heroes of all ages and their families. We will start our run/walk with a SUPERHERO launch\, and then as you propel through the ribbon\, you will bring renewal and hope\, while taking a quantum leap to find a cure to end Stage IV. No Experience necessary! \nCheck-in starts at 10:30 am\nFun Run Event Starts at 12 pm \nCostumes and creativity are encouraged but not required.
